This is another innovative medical device special review program project passed by Century Healthcare  in the past six months. At this point, two high-end intraocular lens of Century Healthcare have been approved through the special review process for innovative medical devices.

The depth of field extended intraocular lens is a new generation of continuous range intraocular lens, which not only has several domestically pioneering core technologies, but also has international leading advantages.

At present, all domestic extended depth of focus (EDOF) intraocular lens are imported brands. The rise of domestically produced depth of field extension intraocular lens will break foreign monopolies and achieve domestic substitution; At the same time, Century Healthcare will collaborate with domestic experts to research and optimize designs based on the height, lifestyle habits, and eye habits of Chinese, and will also achieve domestic surpassing. It is expected that in the second half of 2024, Century Healthcare extended depth of focus (EDOF) intraocular lens will soon be launched, which will greatly enrich the selection of functional intraocular lenses for Chinese and promote the rapid development of high-end ophthalmic medical devices in China!
